Our workshops focus on key skills of effective leadership, ranging from 90 minutes to a half-day in length. These offerings are perfect to add to an existing development program or to provide quick-hit solutions for the most common leadership challenges. ![]() Leader, Manager, Coach - This is a half-day workshop that looks at the various roles leaders play in organizations. Through a combination of presentation and group exercises, the participant is made aware of what each role accomplishes, when to play each role, and most importantly, how to serve in each role is a successful way. This workshop is ideal for new leaders, or entry-level managers, as they are making their transition from employee to manager. back to top Human Being 201 - This half-day workshop takes an in-depth look at how to develop emotional intelligence skills, coupled with a unique module on teaching leaders what behaviors they need to STOP. There are exercises for developing each of the five dimensions of Emotional Intelligence; Intrapersonal, Interpersonal, Stress Management, Adaptability and General Mood. We cover specific techniques designed to enhance and increase the participant's skills in each of these dimensions. Then we focus on self-destructive behaviors that a leader may be doing, and not even know it! We teach a few simple, yet powerful techniques to turn negative behavior into positive outcomes. The workshop is built around the EQ-i assessment, the world's leading tool for identifying emotional intelligence competencies and development strategies. Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is the single best predictor for leadership success. Most leaders who fail in their careers do so because of a lack of EQ skills, not business or technical skills. EQ is learned behavior, and can increase as you become aware of your EQ skills, and develop them. This workshop builds on the assessment results, giving participants specific activities and exercises that enhance their EQ skills back on the job. back to top Leading and Managing Change: Strategies for Success - In this 2-hour workshop, leaders or employees will benefit from understanding how change impacts an organization and the individuals within an organization. With this knowledge, the participant also learns four simple and powerful strategies to help themselves and the organization through change. Additionally, leaders responsible for change are given practical advice on communication strategies that support successful change, as well as handling staff reactions to change. back to top Strategy and Mission - This half-day workshop uses a structured approach to helping a team or group of leaders define a strategic vision for their area of responsibility, along with a mission that supports the vision. A SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) analysis is performed, allowing leaders to begin the process of implementing the vision and performing to the mission.
